Amin Beiranvand Pour is an internationally recognized researcher in remote sensing, geospatial science, and environmental Earth observation, with strong applications in sustainability and Earth system science. He has been consistently ranked among the World’s the leading Earth Sciences researcher in Malaysia (2023–2025). Dr. Beiranvand Pour is highly cited for his pioneering contributions to multispectral and hyperspectral remote sensing, geospatial analytics, and environmental change detection. He has led and contributed to major national and international research projects focused on environmental monitoring, climate change, and geological investigations, including studies in polar and extreme environments. His research integrates advanced GIS, machine learning, geological variability, and resource-related processes. Dr. Pour has authored over 240 peer-reviewed publications and five scientific books, reflecting a sustained and influential research trajectory. Alongside his research excellence, he has extensive teaching experience and has successfully supervised numerous MSc and PhD students. His combined strengths in research leadership, interdisciplinary collaboration, and academic mentorship position him well for senior academic and leadership roles in Earth and environmental sciences.
